Starry moments: day 11

Every cloud has a silver lining, this one certainly did!

I also did my first Pilates class today, and despite my body shaking uncontrollably from the sheer effort of the exercises, I felt amazing. As a rule, I hate exercise, but it felt really good to be looking after my body, and giving it the same care and attention that I’ve been giving my mind.

On the walk back from the class, I felt so invigorated. The sun was shining, the breeze was refreshing against my flushed face, I felt alive, and my body seemed to be thanking me for noticing it. I’m going to feel it tomorrow though!

Another starry moment came when talking to my would be mother in law. I remember the early days and how I felt a bit awkward and uncomfortable, but now I feel so at home and part of the family. Sometimes it’s good to stop, look back, and see how far you’ve come.

    Love the post. There is nothing like a pretty day after an exhilarating workout. Keep up with the Pilates. You will be addicted to it soon 🙂
